If you wish you freeze or suspend your membership it will depend on the type of contract you have. Please see below for the different options we can offer you:
Memberships:
For memberships the maximum suspension is 3 months per year running from January to December without a charge.
You can suspend your account for 1 month minimum at a time from the payment date only.
If you are pregnant, have a serious illness and or a serious injury we can offer you an extension of up to 12 months inclusive of the 3 months above.
We will require satisfactory proof before issuing any suspensions.
PAYG & Annual:
You may temporarily freeze your membership for up to 12 months for the following reasons only and we will need you to provide proof to freeze your membership.
- Pregnancy
- Serious illness
- Serious injury
If you want to freeze your membership, you can request us to do so by contacting our customer service team on Facebook or alternatively giving them a call. As long as we receive your request 7 days before the renewal date of the membership, we can apply this from the payment date.
Please note:
Freezing your membership is not the same as cancelling your membership – freezing is a temporary suspension; cancellation is terminating your membership. To cancel your membership, you must follow the cancellation process.
If we receive your request in accordance with the terms above and agree to freeze your membership, we will do so with effect from the payment date. We cannot freeze it from an earlier date and will not refund any monthly fees paid before your membership was frozen.
When you request us to freeze your membership, you will need to tell us when you plan to resume your membership, although your membership can start again before this date if you let the customer service team know. We will automatically start your membership again, and start taking any autopays on the date you tell us you want your membership to resume.
We will not charge you membership fees while your membership is frozen.
